super bowl wings.
I took a step today, into the world of making my own fake meat. It was liberating! And successful. Tallia even ate 4 wings! (the BBQ time, not the buffalo). But i had been craving these along time, and was happy to see an old favorite again. I will write more on how to make them! (mostly vital wheat gluten)

if valentines plans don't go through...
Ben, if Olivia doesn't want to do what you want to do for valentines, she can hang out with Tallia. And we will go get NBA 5 dollar boxes!

Food Review #2 jan23.2010
Otis Spunkmeyer WhiteChocolate/Macadamia Cookie Dough
This was a tasty frozen treat found in my grandmother's freezer. I had to use my molars to bite into it. Perfection!
Food Review #3 jan23.2010
Shrimp cocktail sample
Great flavor and texture, not a fan of this dish though. It was free, and at the grocery store. Tallia did not take one. Sauce was sweet and tangy, everything you expect from gourmet cocktail sauce in a jar.

Chocolate cookie sample
Tallia saw the Dan's grocery bakery worker take a package of these delicious cookies from the shelf and open them onto the plastic sample tray. She insisted we try one. Not so delicious; fairly dry and lacking something. Good chewy texture when it was in your mouth for a few seconds. One and a half stars.

Black Bean (refried) and Cheddar Quesadilla
Nearly out of cheddar cheese, so this traditional mexican dish was a little bean-heavy. But, paired with a fine Costco salsa, made a wonderful dinner with enough flavor to spice up any night at home. Oiled pan with 100% butter for a crisp and flavorful treatment of the whole-wheat tortilla. Cooked 3 min on each side, after refried black beans were removed from can and warmed in the microwave.
